| Blood Sugar Sex Magik Tour
Il tour promozionale per l'album partì nel 1991 e finì nel 1993. Nel maggio 1992 ci furono dei cambiamenti dovuti all'abbandono improvviso del chitarrista John Frusciante a causa di problemi personali e con Anthony Kiedis.
La band si mise subito in contatto con altri chitarristi, ricevendo il rifiuto di Dave Navarro. Fu provato Zander Schloss ma venne scartato pochi giorni dopo; alla fine il rimpiazzo di Frusciante fu Arik Marshall per il resto del tour.
Arik venne sostituito alla fine del tour con Jesse Tobias, che fu a sua volta sostituito da Dave Navarro che nel frattempo aveva accettato l'offerta.
